I used to rave to my friends about how casinos like these serve lobster buffets, but NOT ANYMORE. But because Pala is a greedy, feeble excuse of a casino resort, they want to hold on to whatever they have and not extend the courtesy of a refund or credit for a future stay to people who were willing to stay there in the first place! Thanks to this incident, I stumbled across so many other poor reviews of this penny-pinching casino resort and realized my mistake for even CONSIDERING staying at this resort in the first place. OBVIOUSLY we meant to cancel both rooms if we booked both of them at the SAME time under ONE reservation.
Pala had SNEAKILY split our reservation into TWO reservations and thus still CHARGED us for one of the rooms-$250!! What an incredibly shady, underhanded business tactic. We booked 2 rooms under ONE reservation so when we had to cancel our stay due to sickness, we canceled the entire reservation we made thinking it was for both rooms. My bf and I were planning to spend a night here with his parents the day after Thanksgiving.
